A faulty smoke detector triggered my alarm method. I checked every thing and there was no smoke,steam,dust or even a spider that could have triggered it...twice in ten minutes and it would not reset. I took it down and searched for a related model and the same make with a two wire configuration. the finish of line resistor broke when I tried to remove it so I bought a five pack at Radio Shack for $1.25. The installation was effortless. Just read the instructions. I tested it and reset my system and all is fantastic.
The vendor was totally amazing too. Super knowledgeable and super fast shipping. Extremely recommend protect99 as and Amazon seller.
My old model was malfunctional at mid night, the alarm wake all my family members.
I looks for the vendor's catalog, it is replaced by this model.
The price tag appears a little bit high, but it comes with installtion diagram. So, I can replace my old one particular and reset my house safety program. Everything is OK now.
