This looks just like the true issue. The sensor that triggers the red light is very very good picks factors up from fairly a distance.
I created it appear even way more actual, by taking the wires out of an old broken (battery operated) toy that my Son had and glueing them beneath the batteries in the dummy camera exactly where there was a tiny hole going into the device. I implemented rubber cement (like E6000 that you can find in any sewing department). I then produced a tiny notch in the battery door and strung the wires out of the camera by means of there. I drilled my pilot holes for the screws that the bracket attaches to. I then drilled one other compact hole in the ceiling next to the pilot holes and under exactly where the bracket for the camera would go. I put glue on the finish of the wires and threaded them into that hole. I then installed the camera and bracket over that hole I drilled.
This way if an individual ever pulls the camera out of the ceiling to see if it really is real, they will be pretty positive their photo was taken when they understand they just ripped a bunch of wires out of the ceiling - that were attached to the camera.
I read all the reviews of this kind of item just before acquiring and decided to attempt it anyway. Some said the motion sensor did not operate, and that was my initial encounter, but then found it does perform in dim light or the dark, but not in bright light. Otherwise, it looks good and hope it will do its job. I bought two, very inexpensively, but the shipping charge seemed high and turned out to be three times what the seller actually spent on shipping. Oh nicely.
