This light and camera operate specifically as described. Bought on Amazon for $78 w/ zero cost shipping. Motion sensor functions up to 40-feet, and the 100-watt halogen bulb lights up - just like any other light you'd acquire at your neighborhood house improvement shop. Pros:
1) Functions as advertised.
two) Disregard silver_diamond2007's 1-star "evaluation" and youtube video about interference with wifi. When I e-mailed him if or not he altered broadcast channels on the unit to keep away from interference with his router, his reply was "How do you transform channels?" Sigh... All that time to write a unfavorable review and make a youtube video, and no time to READ THE MANUAL to resolve the challenge. This light has four broadcast channels, which can be altered on the light by removing the rubber cover on the light's bottom side, and moving the switch. I tested it, and channel 2 interfered with my Linksys G router, but channels 1, 3, and four had no difficulties at all.
3) The video does not "washout/whiteout" when it really is dark and the floodlight suddenly turns on.
4) The camera also transmits AUDIO.
Cons: (why I removed 1 star)
1) There's no mounting gasket (as other lights have) in between the wall and the back of the unit, so the elements can get seep in behind. If you're installing it on a flat surface, it isn't that large a deal, but stucco is a unique matter. Either way, I'd put a bead of caulk around the edge to keep the components out.
2) There is a dial to adjust the sensitivity of the photosensor, but there is no dial to adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor itself.
